JOB SUMMARY:
The Medical Officer (MO) will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. The role includes patient monitoring, collaboration with specialists, and adherence to hospital standards for quality care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform patient examinations, diagnose conditions, and implement treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care.
- Assist consultants and specialists in medical procedures and patient management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment updates.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and patient handovers.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
REQUIREMENTS:
Academic Qualification: MBBS from a recognized institution. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining medical documentation.
- Team-oriented approach to patient care.
