WE ARE HIRING Deputy Manager / Manager (Product Development)
QUALIFICATION : Degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE :
- 6-8 / 10+ years in denim product development/sampling/garment.
- 3 – 5 years management experience in denim manufacturing / Garment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee sample room operations (proto, fit, SMS) to ensure 100% adherence to Time & Action (T&A) timelines and First-Time-Right (FTR) quality: Manage Sampling Lifecycle.
- Translate buyer/designer tech packs into cost-effective, mass-producible garments while maintaining high aesthetic standards: Bridge Design & Bulk Production.
- Manage BOMs, trim sourcing, fabric performance testing (shrinkage, recovery, shade-banding), and target costing: Cost & Technical Control.
- Mentor a team of wash technicians and pattern developers while working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Quality, and Production teams: Lead & Collaborate.
- Collaborate/Closely work with Marketing team to understand their/buyer requirements.
- Present new innovative ideas, market trends and work closely with designers’ team.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Deep knowledge of denim wash chemistry, laser programming, fabric stretch dynamics, post-wash shrinkage, and tech packs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, cost-consciousness, and a commitment to sustainable denim practices.
