SITUATIONS VACANT: The National Accountability Bureau invites applications from Pakistani nationals against the following temporary post, which is likely to continue, at its Headquarters in Islamabad.
1. Driver (BPS-04)
- Total No. of Posts: 04
- Quota:
- Punjab (including Islamabad): 01 Post (Minority Quota)
- Sindh (Urban): 02 Posts (Open Merit)
- KP: 01 Post (Open Merit)
- Minimum Educational Qualification:
- (i) Primary Pass
- (ii) Valid driving licence holder and well-versed in traffic rules.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years (including 5 years’ general age relaxation)
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS / IMPORTANT NOTES:
a. Age, qualification and experience shall be counted/examined as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
b. Eligible candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned criteria will be shortlisted for the driving/skill test on the basis of the information/data provided in the online application form.
c. Candidates who qualify in the requisite driving/skill test will be called for an interview in accordance with Federal Government policy.
d. Government servants and employees of autonomous/semi-autonomous bodies and corporations shall be required to apply through the proper channel.
e. The maximum age limit is mentioned above. However, the following categories shall be admissible for further age relaxation:
- Three (03) years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, the Buddhist community, recognized tribes of the Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas.
- Fifteen (15) years, or the number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less, for released or retired personnel of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
- Ten (10) years for government servants who have completed two (02) years of continuous government service on the closing date for receipt of applications.
- Five (05) years for the widow, son or daughter of a deceased government servant who died during service.
- Any other age relaxation admissible under government policy.
Note: Where a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more than one of the categories specified above, he/she shall be allowed age relaxation under only one category, whichever is more favourable.
f. Various quotas have been calculated in accordance with Federal Government policy.
g. The above post shall be governed by the National Accountability Bureau Employees (Service) Rules, 2025.
h. Holders of dual nationality are not eligible to apply.
i. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in any test/interview.
j. Candidates who fulfill the requisite criteria for the above post shall apply online through official website of NAB (http://nab.gov.pk/jobs) under the “Jobs” tab by 16th November, 2026. Application(s) received through post / hard copy shall not be entertained.
