Position: General Manager Risk Management
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design and implement an overall Risk Management process for the Company.
- Assess and identify potential risks that may hinder the safety, security and financial prosperity of the organization using appropriate tools.
- Review risk management framework and policies, develop risk management guidelines for various products and ensure compliance with regulations issued by regulators (SECP and Central Bank).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Company’s internal control framework in addressing risks and accomplishing goals.
- Establish a framework and methodology for completion of contingency plans by internal business units.
- Make business continuity plans to limit risks and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Education: MBA / Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Experience: 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, preferably in Banking / NBFC / Financial Services sector.
- Key Skills: * Strong knowledge of risk management principles and risk analysis.
- Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and report writing abilities.
