CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) is a leading Electric Utility Company, endeavoring to provide uninterrupted electric supply to more than 5.1 million valued consumers. In order to provide equal employment opportunities for candidates domiciled in the Province of Balochistan, applications are invited through M/S National Testing Service (NTS) for recruitment against the following posts in GEPCO on contract basis with lump-sum pay package.
The requisite qualification / experience and other conditions are given as under: –
1. Junior Engineer (Electrical) / SDO (BPS-17)
No. of Posts: 02
Required Education / Qualification:
- BE / BS (Electrical Engineering) in Power / Electronics Degree (at-least 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA) from a recognized University of HEC duly registered with PEC Pakistan.
- The candidate should be capable of operating computer with special emphasis on windows, emails & MS office etc.
Age (including five years relaxation): 21-33 years
2. Assistant Manager (CS) / Revenue Officer (RO) (BPS-17)
No. of Posts: 01
Required Education / Qualification:
- MBA / M.Com / MSc. Computer Sciences / MSc. / MA (Statistics / Mathematics / Economics) with minimum two 1st Divisions in the academic career.
- The candidate must be capable of operating computer with special emphasis on windows and MS office etc.
Age (including five years relaxation): 21-33 years
3. Assistant Manager (Material Management) (BPS-17)
No. of Posts: 01
Required Education / Qualification:
- MBA / M.Com/ MSc. Computer Sciences / MSc. / MA (Statistics/Mathematics/ Economics) with minimum two 1st Divisions in the academic career.
- The candidate must be capable of operating computer with special emphasis on windows and MS office etc.
Age (including five years relaxation): 21-33 years
4. Assistant Manager (MIS/IT) (BPS-17)
No. of Posts: 01
Required Education / Qualification:
– Master Degree or equivalent (with at least 60% marks) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Software Engineering or 4 years / 8 semesters honors degrees in computer sciences from HEC recognized institutes.
Age (including five years relaxation): 21-33 years
Applicants are advised to read the following instructions carefully before filling the relevant application form available on the M/S National Testing Service (NTS) website i.e. www.nts.org.pk.
INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. General age relaxation has already been included in the age mentioned against each category. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed 3 years relaxation.
2. Government Servants / WAPDA / DISCOs employees who have completed two years continuous Government / WAPDA / DISCOs service on the closing date for receipt of applications, age limit is permissible up to 43-years.
3. Only candidates possessing a valid domicile certificate of Balochistan Province shall be eligible to apply.
4. Candidates who don’t have PEC Registration are not eligible to apply for the post of Junior Engineers (Electrical)/SDO at Sr. 01.
5. Only qualified / eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the Written Test. Only shortlisted candidates falling within merit as per the provisions of applicable Recruitment Policy, will be called for Interview.
6. Candidates will be recruited / appointed on Contract with Lump Sum Pay Package initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable on satisfactory performance and the services of these contractual appointees will not be regularized in future at any stage.
7. The candidates possessing Result Cards/Transcripts mentioning CGPA evaluation must acquire their Result Cards/Transcripts with marks in percentage (%age) from their respective Institutions / Universities recognized by HEC before applying.
8. The candidates having 16 years education in the relevant discipline, duly recognized by the HEC, are eligible to apply.
9. Serving candidates who are in Government Service are advised to apply through proper channel. At the time of the interview, candidates must provide a departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) wherein the date of appointment and the nature of their employment (e.g., Regular, Contract, etc.) should be clearly described.
10. Candidates, if selected, will be required to perform duties within the jurisdiction of GEPCO.
11. No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates for Test / Interview.
12. Only those candidates who have completed their requisite Qualifications are eligible to apply i.e. candidates to whom final transcript, degree, domicile and other certificates have not been issued, as on last date of submission of applications, shall not be considered. Further, candidates awaiting their certificates shall not be eligible to apply.
13. Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information or received after due date shall not be entertained.
14. Submission of applications by courier service will not be entertained.
15. Original documents along with one set of attested photocopies must be presented by the candidate at the time of interview/joining of service.
16. Candidates may contact M/S National Testing Service (NTS) for any query/enquiry regarding written test, display of provisional & final list of candidates, Roll No. slips, test centers, results etc.
17. GEPCO reserves the right to withhold / cancel the whole recruitment process or of any post at any stage without assigning any reason.
18. Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of a candidate from the current recruitment and from all types of tests/exams to be conducted by the GEPCO for recruitment in future.
19. GEPCO reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts as per requirement at any stage without assigning any reason.
20. Dismissed / screened out employees of any organization or having criminal record are not eligible for employment in GEPCO. The clearance of the character and antecedents of the candidates from the agencies/police shall be mandatory.
21. Any litigation pertaining to recruitment tests conducted by the M/S NTS will be dealt by M/S NTS at its own level.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Applicants are advised to apply directly on the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk).
2. By hand applications will not be received either at GEPCO or NTS.
3. The test fee for the said posts is Rs. 540/-. However, in accordance with the instructions/guidelines of the Establishment Division, 50% of the test fee shall be borne by the candidates, while the remaining 50% shall be borne by GEPCO. Accordingly, candidates shall submit duly completed application forms along with the prescribed fee of Rs. 270/-. The remaining 50% (Rs. 270/-) shall be paid by GEPCO directly to NTS in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
4. Test fee shall be paid to M/S NTS through 1Link 1Bill Participating Banks/ ATM/ Internet Banking/ Mobile Banking/ Easypaisa / Jazz Cash/ TCS Express Counters.
5. Roll No. Slip containing information regarding the test center, timings and test date will be uploaded on M/S NTS website at least one (01) week before the test date and candidates will be informed through email address & SMS as well on mobile number, provided by the candidate.
6. The candidates are advised to contact the M/S NTS 051-8444441 or email at [email protected] for any query / information related to Written Test, display of provisional and final list of candidates, Roll number slips, Test centers, Results etc.
7. The last date to apply through M/S NTS is 23/11/2026.
8. The Online Application Portal shall be removed from the website at 11:59:59 p.m. on the closing date 23/11/2026 for the receipt of applications.
9. A separate application form will be submitted if candidate is applying against more than one post.
