POSITION VACANT: Applications are invited from qualified professionals for the posts of Associate Professor (Pharmacy), Assistant Professor (Pharmacy), and Lecturer at University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore on contract basis. The required qualification and experience for the said posts are as under:
1. Associate Professor (Pharmacy) (BPS-20)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Age Limit: 30-50 years
- Minimum Qualification:
a) Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, or an equivalent discipline) from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP); and
b) Ten years teaching or research experience in a post-graduate institute or university or national or international organization recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC); and
c) Ten peer reviewed research publications with at least five publications in the last five years in the journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
2. Assistant Professor (Pharmacy) (BPS-19)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Age Limit: 25-45 years
- Minimum Qualification:
a) PhD or M.Phil in Pharmacy (Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, or an equivalent discipline) from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP); and
b) Four years teaching or research experience in a post-graduate institute or university or national or international organization recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
3. Lecturer (BPS-18)
- No. of Posts: 04
- Age Limit: 22-45 years
- Minimum Qualification:
a) M.Phil in Pharmacy (Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, or an equivalent discipline) from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP); and
b) Two-year post qualification teaching or research experience in an institute or university or national or international organization recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Final appointment will be subject to the verification of education degree & experience certificates (any expenditure in this regard will be borne by the candidate/ employee).
2. Five years relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed across the boards. However female candidates shall be given 08 years age relaxation as per government notification No. SOR1 (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012.
3. Applicants having Punjab domicile are required to submit application/ dossiers on the prescribed proforma available at University website i.e., https://uchs.edu.pk/careers along with attested copies of attested documents i.e., degrees, certificates, CNIC copy, domicile and fresh passport size-colored photographs.
4. Application proforma should be filled and submitted in the office of the Registrar, Admin Block, University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore along with a bank draft/ pay order of Rs. 5000/- for (BPS-20, BPS-19 & BPS-18) (non-refundable) in favour of University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore (FTN number F258751).
5. The applicants having foreign degree must have HEC equivalence certificate.
6. Government Servants should submit the applications through proper channel.
7. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
8. Authority reserves the right to cancel, increase or decrease the number of posts at any level without assigning any reason.
9. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.
10. No TA & DA will be allowed.
11. Last date for submission of application is 20-11-2026.
