Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Management:
Develop and implement IT strategies to support business objectives and growth.
Monitor IT budgets, expenses, and cost control to optimize resources.
Oversee IT policies, system administration, and business continuity planning.
IT Infrastructure & Support:
Manage the setup, configuration, and maintenance of all IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and security.
Oversee troubleshooting, system backups, and network connectivity for seamless business operations.
Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance and support to optimize team performance.
Plan and conduct training programs for staff to ensure effective use of IT systems.
Foster a collaborative environment to improve communication and workflow within the IT department.
Data & Security Management:
Design and enforce data protection policies to comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
Conduct regular security assessments and system audits to detect and mitigate risks.
Coordinate with management to implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with external vendors, negotiating contracts for software/hardware purchases.
Coordinate with various departments to understand IT needs and implement customized solutions.
Ensure effective communication with stakeholders on IT updates, changes, and improvements.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of system administration, network security, and database management.
Proficiency in cybersecurity protocols and understanding of data privacy laws.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure planning, development, and operations.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading teams and managing IT projects within budgets and deadlines.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to translate complex technical terms for non-technical stakeholders.
