ASSISTANT QUALITY MANAGER – CLINICAL LAB

LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring the compliance of all Policies and Procedures of Quality Assurance Standards i.e. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 15189, Sind Health Care Commission (SHCC), and College of American Pathologist (CAP).
To implement effective quality assurance and training activity reviews the quality plan annually and recommends any revisions needed to the laboratory’s director/manager.
Monitor and report periodically to manager lab quality assurance to ensure that the system is working in compliance with predefined policies and procedures, having good practices and/or any concern/deficiencies are identified and shared with the relevant manager.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to quality control and quality assurance activities, and prepare reports for management and regularity agencies such as organization on international Standardization (ISO) & College of American Pathologist (CAP).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with lab staff, Management and external stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To maintain the quality policy.
To ensure that processes that are required for the Quality management System are established, implemented and maintained.
To assist with the establishment and documentation of quality objectives, including formulating a plan for achieving these objectives.
To assist in the preparation, administration, dissemination and regular review of quality manuals for the clinical laboratories.
To ensure that the quality management system functions correctly by managing and maintaining quality monitoring systems.
To assist in maintaining the document control system.
To report to laboratory management, at the level at which decisions are made on laboratory policy, objectives, and resources, on the performance of the Quality Management System and any need for improvement.
To identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
To monitor risk management activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Academic/ Professional Qualification: M.Phil. / MS / BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences/Allied Health Sciences. MBA in Health Care Management will be added Advantage.
Work Experience: 2 to 3 Years’ experience after post-graduation.
