Canteen Stores Department (CSD), a prestigious Chain of Retail Stores across Pakistan, invites applications for the position of Network/ System Admin (Contract basis) at Rawalpindi Station: –
Post for Network/ System Admin (1x Vacancy: Rawalpindi)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an HEC-recognized national or international university.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in system and network administration.
- Candidates should be male not more than 40 years of age.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, RHCE, or VMware certified professional (VCP) will be considered and added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and reliable endpoint connectivity; provide routine troubleshooting.
- Configure, and administer Windows server environments, including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Install, configure, and manage Linux-based servers, Performing routine administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Provision, manage, and maintain, VMware vSphere virtualized environments including virtual machines.
- Manage enterprise network security using Fortinet Firewall Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents using SIEM, IDS/ IPS, firewall, and endpoint security solutions; perform log analysis, threat hunting, and vulnerability remediation to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
- Strong hands-on and understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, Routing & Switching.
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security hardening across server and network infrastructure.

- Salary is negotiable however, depends upon qualification and experience ofcandidate. Benefits such as Health/ Life insurance, gratuity and leave encashment will be provided as per departmental rules.
