DEPUTY MANAGER – IMPORTS
Lucky Cement Limited is currently seeking individuals to join us as Deputy Manager – Imports at our Karachi office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Banking Coordination: Manage financial transactions related to imports, working closely with banks and financial institutions to ensure smooth processing of import payments and documentation.
- Customs Compliance: Stay updated on current customs rules and procedures to ensure all import activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.
- Freight Rate Negotiation: Negotiate with freight forwarders to secure competitive shipping rates and coordinate shipment schedules to meet business requirements.
- Document Verification and Classification: Review and verify all import-related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriate classification of goods under relevant codes.
- Customs Interaction and Facilitation: Act as a liaison with customs authorities, coordinating clearances, and addressing any inquiries to streamline the import process.
- Inland Transportation Management: Oversee post-clearance logistics, including coordinating inland transportation to ensure timely delivery of goods from the port to designated locations.
Qualification: Bachelors/Masters in a relevant field.
Experience: A minimum of 05-07 years of experience in a similar role.
