Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO), a reputable Independent Power Producer (IPP), seeks to attract high-caliber, results-driven, and career-oriented individuals for the following position at its plant site in Kot Addu, Punjab.
Manager Internal Audit
To lead the Financial & Governance function of Internal Audit, providing independent assurance and supporting strong governance, risk management, and control environment across the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead risk-based financial and governance audit engagements and report on the effectiveness of financial and non-financial controls.
- Conduct reviews across financial reporting, treasury and investments, borrowings, billing and receivables, procurement, payroll and HR, tax, legal spending, governance and regulatory compliance.
- Review IT general controls over business systems and coordinate specialized/externally sourced reviews.
- Monitor audit findings and action items and verify their closure.
- Review audit working papers and reports and supervise junior audit staff.
- Deputize for the Chief Internal Auditor, when required.
The candidate must:
- be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAP), ACCA, CIA or CMA;
- have 6–8 years of relevant experience, including articleship and internal and/or external audit experience, preferably with exposure to treasury, investments, or a regulated energy business;
- have working knowledge of IFRS, The Listed Companies (Code of Corporate Governance) Regulations, 2019 and IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, with skills in data analysis, IT general controls and report-writing.
