Taj Gasoline is seeking an experienced resource for Fuel Station Supervisor to join our team.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in petrol pump, fuel station, retail outlet, or similar operations.
Skills: Strong supervisory, customer service, cash handling, recordkeeping, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Job Description
- Site Operations & Inventory: Supervise daily site operations, monitor stock levels, maintain inventory records, and ensure proper storage and display of lubricants while preventing losses and damages.
- Customer Service: Monitor service quality across day and night shifts, resolve customer complaints in the manager’s absence, maintain customer records and loyalty cards, and conduct follow-up calls to inactive customers.
- Cash & Banking: Manage cash handling, bank deposits, cash transfers, and timely payments in accordance with company guidelines.
- Bookkeeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate cash books, dip books, stock and product books, meter books, vouchers, discount records, fleet card records, and other operational documents.
- Reports & Registers: Prepare and submit daily sales, inventory, credit, discount, attendance, closing, and KPI reports. Maintain maintenance logs, employee records, asset registers, and updated SOP documentation.
- Sales & Business Development: Support sales targets, acquire new customers, build customer relationships, conduct market visits, and promote company products and offers.
- Equipment & Asset Management: Ensure proper use and maintenance of site equipment, computers, CCTV, and other resources. Protect company assets and maintain secure data backups.
- Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce forecourt safety rules, ensure availability of first aid supplies, report safety hazards promptly, and support emergency response procedures.
- Policy Compliance: Implement company policies, SOPs, operational guidelines, and security requirements across the site.
- Team Supervision: Support staff performance, maintain attendance and employee records, issue employee cards, and promote effective teamwork across shifts.
- Sales Promotions: Communicate promotional offers to existing and potential customers and support sales promotion activities.
- Tank Lorry Coordination: Coordinate tank lorry maintenance, usage, expenses, team matters, and performance reporting.
