FINANCE OFFICER
Ziauddin University is seeking applicants for the Finance Department
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for accounts payable functions, including paying invoices, entering manual payments, and processing refunds
- Reconciling vendor’s accounts and identifying discrepancies
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Participate in annual audits and credit rating assignments
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software and check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Strong compliance with pre-defined SOPs and workflows
- Coordination & follow-up with vendors & peer departments regarding payments
- Timely payment processing & tracking
- Issuance of advances to suppliers & their follow-ups
- Local taxation knowledge
- Interacting with stakeholders, including the finance team, internal and external stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fresh accounting graduates with BBA or B.COM (Hons) are encouraged to apply
- Part qualification from professional bodies like ICAP, ICAMP, ACCA, PIFA & CMA
- Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience of Oracle R-12 would be an advantage
