YKK Technologies Jobs Senior IT Executive / System Administrator:
We are looking for a “Senior IT Executive / System Administrator” for our factory located in Karachi Export Processing Zone, Landhi, Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, migrate, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources.
- Implement system backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, analyze data traffic, and optimize network configurations.
- Implement network security measures, including access controls, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in setting up and configuring workstations, printers, and other peripherals.
- Train users on new systems and applications. Develop and maintain user documentation and knowledge base.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 4 to 5 years as a System Administrator and Network Administrator or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Servers and AS/400 operating systems.
- Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and Knowledge of security principles and best practices (firewalls, encryption, access controls).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, ISMS) are a plus.
