Sr. Manager/ Manager Sales – Denim Division
We are seeking a high-caliber, result-oriented Sr. Manager/ Manager Sales – Denim Division. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and expanding our market footprint both locally and internationally. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of denim fabrics (washes, weights, and weaves) and an established network of buyers and buying houses with following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base in the denim sector.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with global brands, local retailers, and major buying houses.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on global denim trends, sustainable washing techniques, and competitor pricing to keep Union Fabrics at the forefront.
- Product Development Liaison: Work closely with the PD team to translate customer requirements into innovative denim products and samples.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare monthly sales reports, revenue forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
- Negotiation: Manage complex price negotiations and ensure favorable terms while maintaining profitability.
Experience & Qualification
- MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 + years of proven experience in textile sales, with at least 5 years specifically in the Denim industry.
- Deep understanding of denim manufacturing processes, specialized indigo dyeing, and various wash types.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and international trade shows (e.g., Kingpins, Denim PV).
