We are Hiring Site Coordinator – Expansion & Development.
- Department: Expansion & Facilities Karachi
- Reporting To: Sr. Manager – Expansion & Facilities
- Location: Project Sites (Travel Required)
Job Purpose: The Site Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities for new restaurant development projects. The role ensures that all work is executed according to approved designs, project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.
- Monitor contractor performance and adherence to project timelines and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Liaise with internal departments including Operations, Procurement, and Facilities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction quality and compliance with approved designs.
- Address technical issues in coordination with consultants.
- Track project progress against timelines and report updates to the Sr. Manager – Expansion & Facilities.
- Identify and escalate potential delays or risks.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, company policies, and site safety standards.
- Coordinate final inspections and ensure smooth handover of completed projects to the Operations team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–4 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, project management, or site management, preferably in retail, restaurant, or commercial fit-out projects.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Effective coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across Pakistan.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
