Job title: Electrical Engineer / I&C Engineer
Electrical Engineer/I&C Engineer will work with a team of project engineers, project manager, engineering consultants and product vendors to install solar power plants for various clients in different cities of Pakistan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Position responsibilities include:
• Perform site visits, engineering evaluation of energy efficiency and understanding the load requirements of commercial and industrial clients.
• He will be responsible for maintaining minimum HSE standards on site and comply with clients HSE policy (where applicable)
• Preparing instrumentation and control schematics and its implementation
• He will be responsible for timely completion of tasks/ project milestones related to electrical works
• Preparing Electrical drawings (Single line diagrams, connection diagrams of electrical systems using software)
• Prepare checklists for review and inspection of completed solar installation projects
• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning and performance monitoring
• Prepare daily & weekly progress report for on-going projects
• He will be responsible for providing the feedback to the Project Manager on the quality aspects and practical consideration specific to the site on the proposed engineering solutions by the installation team
• Provide assistance in bid documents preparation, bid evaluation and technology selection of Solar products
• Inspections of equipment, including verifications that components are as per specifications/standards and quantity detailed as mentioned in bid documents
• To prepare punch list items for 3rd party contractors before final handing & taking over
Qualification and Experience:
• BSc Electrical Engineering
• Registered with PEC
• Minimum 3 Years of practical experience
Skills:
• Ability to work independently and effectively with project managers, clients, consulting engineers, design and technical personnel as well as product vendors
• Computer proficiency with CAD software and MS Office
• Good knowledge of electrical protection equipment
• Ability of multitasks
• Experience of working on solar projects
• Good technical writing and oral communication skills
• Good knowledge of setting up metering devices and controllers
