National Foods Limited Jobs Junior Officer QC:
National Foods Limited is looking to hire “Junior Officer QC“. This position is based in Karachi.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct process inspection of semi finished material/goods of paste plant for compliance of processes and workplace safety as per NFL standards
- Perform random visits to check the quality parameters from cooking stage to finish product (like appearance, cooking temperature vessels cleaning, appearance of bottle,capping,sealing of pouches and sachets,printing,weight analysis,cartoning,packing etc.)
- Check GMP compliance, safety practices, housekeeping and SOP compliance during process, ensure compliance of SOPs and safety standards and highlight areas for improvement
- Advise process supervisors to stop the processing of material in case of quality issues (low intensity) and inform production manager in case of high intensity issues
- Record all relevant details like batch number, production date, product name and process monitoring check sheet(FIORI)
- Monitor workplace safety, general hygiene conditions, use of PPEs, cleaning of machinery on changeover for compliance of ISO standards
- Check OPI compliance of export material prior to cartoning to match requirements; advise production team to hold production in case of non-compliance
- Ensure line clearance of each change over
- Generate non-conformity report against any non-conformance and their closure
- R&D and other trails and process validation
- Check all related parameters during processing of trails
- Verification of material before processing
- Send samples of trail production to QC Lab for further testing
- Compile test reports and validation reports
- Conduct Gemba Walk across the complete unit to Identify QHSE and Food Safety non-conformance
- Compile report of Gemba Walk
Education: BS or MSc Chemistry/Applied Chemistry & Tech/Food Science & Tech/Chemical Engineering
Experience: Fresh / 1-2 years of relevant experience
