Position : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Board of Directors
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash-flow management across manufacturing, production, sourcing, and retail operations.
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, annual financial statements, and performance analysis.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, product costing, margins, wastage, inventory valuation, and production variances.
- Ensure effective working capital management, including receivables, payables, inventory, and cash utilization.
- Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, letters of credit, foreign exchange, and trade finance facilities.
- Establish strong internal controls, financial policies, audit systems, and risk-management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, corporate regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and Board to support investment, expansion, pricing, and operational decisions.
- Lead and develop the finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, costing, and internal audit teams.
- Oversee ERP financial systems, process automation, and improvements in financial governance and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, procurement, merchandising, and commercial teams to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualification: CA / ACCA / ACMA Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: 8–12 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including significant experience in textile manufacturing, garments, dyeing, processing, apparel, or related manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a large-scale manufacturing organization.
