Job Posting: Assistant Manager – Accounts (Lahore based)
The Assistant Manager Accounts will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of Lama Retail. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of IFRS & Accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
● Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions for monthly closings.
● Regulate compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Corporate Laws & Income Tax / Sale Tax regulations.
●Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Management and statutory audits.
●Reconcile and manage the group’s Working Capital (Receivables, Payables & Inventory).
●Ensure timely preparation of bank reconciliation statements and timely resolution of issues.
●Maintain the financial system by keeping it up to date for accurate reporting of business transactions.
●Supervise and maintain Provident Fund.
●Manage and develop team, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
●Ensure adequacy of accounting record for financial / tax audits.
Qualifications:
● ACMA / MBA Finance / ACCA with 3-4 years of working experience in similar capacity of a renowned retail / textile setup.
● In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Taxation laws is required.
● Proven experience in handling complex accounting transactions, preferably in the retail industry.
● Functional understanding of corporate & secretariat practices would be a plus.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
● A high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
● Adaptability and a proactive approach to addressing financial challenges.
Location: LAMA Head-Office Lahore.
Salary: 100k – 125k
