TAX OFFICER
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate income tax, GST, payroll tax, etc.).
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of taxes.
- Maintain and update tax records, reports, and documentation.
- Tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance with local Tax laws.
- Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors during tax audits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal use.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate tax reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Tax Officer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in using tax software and MS Office applications (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
