Position: Executive Housekeeper
Location: Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, North Nazimabad Campus Karachi
JOB SUMMARY:
The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for leading and managing housekeeping operations across the hospital, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in both hotel management and hospital/healthcare environments, bringing hospitality excellence together with strict infection control practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and supervise end-to-end housekeeping operations across all hospital areas (wards, ICUs, OPDs, offices, public spaces)
- Ensure compliance with hospital hygiene protocols and infection prevention standards
- Implement standard cleanliness and guest service practices within the hospital
- Develop SOPs, cleaning procedures, and quality control systems
- Conduct regular cleanliness audits and ensure continuous improvement
- Lead, train, and manage housekeeping teams, including shift scheduling and performance management
- Oversee linen management, laundry operations, and inventory control
- Ensure proper biomedical and general waste disposal in compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with Infection Control, Nursing, Biomedical, and Administration departments
- Manage vendors and outsourced housekeeping services effectively
- Optimize resources, reduce wastage, and control operational costs
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES:
- Strong understanding of hospital infection control and hygiene standards
- In-depth knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations and service excellence

REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (Hospitality Management / Administration preferred)
- Working Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in housekeeping, At least 5 years in a managerial role Hotel industry.

Position: Infection Control Officer – (IP&C)
Location: Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Sukkur Campus
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing infection control activities, including identification, prevention, and management of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor patients regularly for HAIs
- Ensure proper implementation of isolation precautions
- Train healthcare staff on infection control practices
- Prepare infection control reports and statistics
- Conduct daily rounds and monitor hygiene practices
- Collect and analyze infectious disease data
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Intermediate, Bachelor in Nursing
- Professional Qualification: Relevant short courses / training (preferred)
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES:
- Understanding of infection control concepts and microbiology
- Knowledge of CDC & WHO guidelines for HAIs
