Diamond Fabrics Limited, Sapphire is seeking a skilled professional to join our Denim team who has expertise in bleaching process. This role is crucial for driving our business forward and establishing benchmarks that align with the best industry practices.
The key areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate include:
- Oversee bleaching and mercerizing operations in the pre-treatment section.
- Control and monitor pre-treatment parameters as per standard technical methods during bulk production.
- Ensure all fabric meets buyer standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Work proactively with related departments and the laboratory team to ensure quality requirements are fulfilled.
- Escalate major issues to the Department Head and support the implementation of corrective or alternative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with standard fabric quality and process requirements.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure proper upkeep of machinery.
- Achieve daily pre-treatment production targets and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve machine faults and production hold-ups.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily production, chemical consumption, and fabric quality results.
- Inspect pre-treatment equipment (singeing, cold pad bleach, bleaching, mercerizing, finishing units) for proper functioning.
- Support R&D trials by testing new chemicals and process improvements.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 03 to 05 years of experience in pre-treatment processes within textile or denim finishing (bleaching, mercerizing, etc.).
- Strong understanding of production parameters and chemical applications.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Leadership abilities to guide and evaluate team performance.
- Willingness to work in shifts as required.
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
