This role performs the daily purchasing operations to DHL business, through efficient purchasing processes and systems that provide spend transparency and help control costs. We deliver purchasing services from requisition to purchase order based on e-purchasing tools including both user support (e.g., first level support, management of e-purchasing catalog), processing non-catalog requisitions and second level support.

Role & Responsibilities:
•Execute and ensure procurement processes applying Procurement and Business Partner policies.
•Perform tactical purchasing process which includes day-to-day admin support, requisition and analysis of competitive bids, selection of suppliers, quality, delivery terms, specs for goods & services etc.
•Catalog contracts negotiation with suppliers.
•Support preparation and monitoring of tenders, negotiations, and supplier management.
•Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier, vendor information and to track purchase and the status of orders.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in operational functions and especially in purchasing would be advantageous.
•Completed tertiary education and / or relevant university degree and / or equivalent experience.
•Proficiency in English – reading, writing & speaking.
•Basic knowledge of purchasing practices and buying procedures
•Experience in working with MS Office suite (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•Experience in SAP and/or Oracle system environment
•Great communication style and analytical skills
