ACT Group Jobs Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

ACT Group (Akhtar, Candyland & Tapal) is hiring for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with Independent Power Producer (IPP) experience.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership
   -Provide high-level financial guidance and advice to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other senior management teams.
   -Monitor industry trends, especially in the energy and power generation sectors, and ensure the company is well-positioned to respond to market changes.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
   -Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial forecasts, budgets, and financial statements for the Group.
   -Conduct financial modeling, including long-term project finance structures, to assess the viability of IPP projects.
   -Evaluate and manage the company’s financial performance against set targets and operational objectives.
3. IPP Project Finance and Funding
   -Lead the financing and structuring of large-scale energy projects, ensuring the optimal mix of debt and equity capital.
   -Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and lenders to secure funding for IPP projects.
   -Oversee the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and documentation related to project finance and due diligence.
4. Risk Management and Compliance
   -Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks related to the power generation projects.
   -Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards, including those specific to the energy sector.
5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
   -Manage the Group’s treasury function, including the management of debt facilities, banking relationships, and capital structuring for IPP projects.
   -Oversee financial reporting and ensure the timely submission of required documents to investors, regulators, and stakeholders.
6. Regulatory Affairs and Licensing
   -Oversee the regulatory and licensing processes related to power generation projects, ensuring adherence to legal and financial stipulations.
   -Manage any challenges or changes in local regulations affecting IPP operations.

Qualification: MBA/CA/ACCA/CMA
Experience: 10+ years of experience and minimum 3- 5 years in senior financial roles.
Skills: Strong Analytical, Problem Solving & decision making skills,
Exceptional Communication & Negotiation Skills,
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards, particularly those relevant to the energy and IPP sectors,
Knowledge of advanced financial management systems (ERP, SAP), financial modeling tools, and data analytics platforms.
