Responsibilities:
- Own the full lifecycle of all solar contracts (EPC, O&M, AMC, power purchase / lease, equipment supply, and warranties) from negotiation through execution, administration, and close-out.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms, SLAs, pricing, and penalty / incentive clauses in coordination with Legal, Procurement, and Finance.
- Maintain a centralized contract repository capturing obligations, milestones, expiry dates, and renewal triggers for full visibility and compliance.
- Monitor contractual compliance, track deliverables against SLAs, and manage variations, change orders, and scope adjustments.
- Administer performance guarantees, liquidated damages, retentions, and bank guarantees, ensuring timely release or recovery.
- Identify, prequalify, evaluate, and onboard solar vendors (EPC contractors, O&M providers, and equipment OEMs), maintaining an approved vendor panel and scorecards.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews against KPIs and SLAs, manage escalations, and resolve disputes promptly.
- Drive cost optimization and value engineering through competitive sourcing, benchmarking, and negotiation without compromising quality or safety.
- Ensure all vendors comply with HSE, quality, and statutory requirements on site.
- Ensure uninterrupted and optimal performance of all solar installations across sites, monitoring Performance Ratio (PR), availability, yield, and actual vs. projected generation.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance by O&M vendors, coordinate fault diagnosis and resolution, and minimize downtime.
- Ensure regulatory and grid compliance (net-metering, interconnection, inspections, and approvals) and maintain required documentation.
- Manage spare-parts availability and warranty claims, ensuring timely resolution of equipment failures with OEMs.
- Maintain a forward-looking renewal calendar for all contracts, warranties, insurance, and licenses, and initiate timely renewals / re-negotiations to prevent any lapse in coverage.
- Produce periodic performance and savings reports, giving management timely visibility of upcoming renewals, options, and recommendations.
