Vacancy: Assistant Manager Procurement

Experience: 3 – 6 years
Location: Port Qasim, Karachi
Job Requirements:
Procurement Management:
- Oversee the procurement of materials and supplies for local operations.
- Ensure an efficient inventory of required parts based on established guidelines.
- Prepare monthly reports on inventory and procurement status.
- Coordinate the supply chain to ensure materials are available as per schedule.
- Track and facilitate timely payment processing to suppliers.
Packaging Materials:
- Manage procurement of packaging materials for both plants based on purchase requests.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure timely delivery of all packaging materials.
- Obtain management approval for any price changes.
- Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements related to packaging.
Tools, Equipment, and General Supplies:
- Source quotations and issue purchase orders as per requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and materials.
- Arrange urgent deliveries for plant maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for timely bill clearance and payment processing.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP S4-Hana or similar software for managing procurement processes efficiently.
