Job Title: Assistant Team Leader – Plant Engineering (Cogeneration)

Eligibility: Must be a DAE (Power/ Electrical / Mechanical) or Vocational certificate with relevant experience
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant working experience

Responsibilities include:
· To carry on operational and maintenance job of all Gas Engines & Diesel engine and all its auxiliaries.
· Assist Shift Engineers/ Deputy Manager/ Manager Cogeneration to keep the Gas engines and diesel engine at its peak performance & to ensure uninterrupted power supply & maximum availability of all engines by minimizing downtime by planning and organizing preventive maintenance.
· Organizing and monitoring of preventive maintenance activities related to Gas engines and diesel engines.
· To maintain inventory of all spares and consumables and coordination with stores/ PPMC in this regard.
· Implement and regularly update equipment Check sheets for Gas engines and diesel engines in connection with operations.
· Prepare and implement Annual/ monthly plan / maintenance schedule of all Gas engines and diesel engines.
· To identify and avoid recurrence of breakdowns.
· Monitoring of all contractual jobs related to Gas engines and diesel engines works carried out by engines suppliers.
· Monitoring of Firefighting equipment and to ensure zero accident in plant.
· Supervise all activities in conjunction with powerhouse operations & it supplies to plant.
· Updating of safety calendars.
· Requisition of material pertaining to Operations and maintenance of Gas engines and diesel engines.
· Responsible for Quantity and quality of all jobs performed both by contractors/suppliers.
