Job Announcement – Recovery Officer:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing. Diploma / working knowledge of laws pertaining to collection / recovery will be an added advantage.
Experience required: 2-3 years in an Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Debt Collector, Credit Officer or similar roles
Principal Accountabilities:
· Meeting the daily/weekly/monthly target of Accounts Receivable
· Constant follow up with all stakeholders including clients, sales, network operations center, engineering, sales operations for the closure of accounts receivables
· Daily meeting with clients and making a weekly plan for collection
· Pickup of payments from clients who have accounts receivable wherever applicable
· Daily follow up with finance for the reconciliation of payments received with respect to accounts receivable
· Reporting of daily reports, analysis on Accounts Receivable, making presentations to be presented to management
· Understand in depth each prospective customer’s concerns and decision variables to make the recovery
· Work with the sales and product management teams to address particularly challenging customer requirements or field issues and satisfy the client to help in the recovery
· Strengthen SkyElectric existing customer relationships by gaining a deeper understanding of customer/project issues and how SkyElectric can support them so the recovery can be made
· Ability to abide by policies and procedures and have them respected by supervisees
· Ability to promote and ensure a clear, transparent and accurate information on each client
Skills – Generic:
· Microsoft Office
· Microsoft Visio
· Salesforce Module
· Legislation: Must be familiar with legislation and statutory requirements regarding loan monitoring, recovery and debt collection.
· Technology Skills: Computer literate with proficiency in MS office and graphic applications, data analysis and presentation.
· Financial Analysis Knowledge: Ability to comprehend and analyze financial statements.
· Knowledge of Business Environment: Must understand local and global dynamics of the business environments facing customers and other stakeholders in the loan/debt recovery process
