Simpaisa is looking for an Assistant Manager Treasury, the person would be responsible to manage periodic treasury finance tasks and assist the department in achieving collaborative objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and manage the company’s relationships with the banks.
2. Ensure that cash availability for the daily operational requirement.
3. Manage the remittance merchant’s ledgers and reporting
4. Manage the inward remittance data and it’s reporting
5. Manage the FX data and reporting.
6. Assist the reporting line manager in overall consolidated liquidity handling and management
7. Provide Suggestions in matters of improvement of Company’s Cash Management.
8. Support the reporting line manager by providing the necessary data for the departmental KPIs.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. ACCA/CA Qualified or Master’s degree in Finance, or in a related field from a reputed university.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry.
3. Proficient in cash forecasting and cash management techniques, with a proven ability to optimize liquidity.
4. Knowledge of short-term funding strategies, currency risk management, and foreign exchange transactions.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering results within deadlines.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
