CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: PESCO is a public sector utility company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) which provides Electricity to its valuable customers under its operational jurisdiction. Company is inviting applications for recruitment of suitable candidates to fill the following positions purely on contract basis on lump sum pay basis.

1. Dy. Manager System

Total No. of posts: 1
Quota: Open Merit 1
Age limit: Upto 40 years
Required Qualification and Experience: At least 16 years qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering / Computer Engineering/MSc or equivalent from HEC recognized university. Must have 5 years experience (IT Security, System, Storage).

2. Dy. Manager IT Operations

Quota: Open Merit 1
Age limit: Upto 40 years
Required Qualification and Experience: At least 16 years qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering / Computer Engineering/MSc or equivalent from HEC recognized university. Must have 5 years experience as Assistant Manager (IT Operations, Meter Data Management or Meter Data Collection)

3. Assistant Manager (Systems)

Terms and Conditions

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. However detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority and if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority.
All the candidates will be required to create profile on ETEA’s website. After creating the profile and before applying/depositing fee for any post, such candidates will have to print E-Sahulat token from ETEA’s website and get their CNIC No. verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without such verification, they will not be able to apply for any post.
The service is purely on contract on lump sum pay package basis with no regularization in future.
Candidates qualifying the ETEA test shall subsequently be screened for relevance in terms of the eligibility criteria.
Interview calls letter will be issued to short listed candidates only.
Candidates should be eligible in all respects before or by the last date of receipt of the applications.
Applications received after due dates will not be entertained. Incomplete applications or application submitted with fake documents/information shall be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.
General Age relaxation has already been included in age mentioned above. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed 3 years relaxation and the Government servants who have completed two years continuous Govt. service on the closing date shall be allowed 10 years relaxation in upper age limit.
Candidates if selected will be required to perform duty anywhere under the jurisdiction of PESCO as per requirement of the Company.
Original documents must be presented by the candidate at the time of interview.
The candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies should apply through proper channel. Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with separate fee.
PESCO reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies while mentioning a cogent reason thereof.
No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
Dismissed / sentenced out employees of any organization or having criminal record are not eligible for employment in PESCO.
Concealment or mis-representation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of a candidate.
Any litigation pertaining to recruitment tests conducted by the ETEA will be dealt by them at their own cost without any liability whatsoever on PESCO.
In case of foreign degree, equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided.
Errors/Omissions in number of posts are subject to rectification.

How to Apply

Interested candidates may first visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the posts online.
After successful submission of online application, a prescribed online deposit slip (having token number, Project code & candidates’ personal information) will be generated.
Take a printout of the generated deposit slip & deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through Easypaisa app or Agent or at any branch of UBL Bank.
After successful fee submission, please keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) having bank desired stamp with yourself and do not share it with anyone else.
After online apply, don’t send documents/testimonials to ETEA office, copies of testimonials/ documents will however, be provided by the candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when required by the Appointing Authority for scrutiny purposes.

Last date for submission of online Application is 7th October, 2026
Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and Print their Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates are directed to do not give ported/converted mobile number.
Test Date, Time & Venue will be mentioned on Roll No. Slip.
No separate Call Letter will be issued to candidates for screening test through postal/courier means.
