Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Limited MFFL Jobs Production Manager :
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee and lead our food production operations. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality food products while maintaining strict adherence to food safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and customer demands.
· Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with food safety regulations.
· Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, including raw materials, equipment, and labor.
· Manage and coach a team of production supervisors and frontline workers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
· Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and product quality enhancement.
· Monitor and control production costs, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions.
· Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
· Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing and promoting health and safety guidelines.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience preferably in fmcg.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science or a related field. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Proven experience as a Production Manager in a food production environment, with in-depth knowledge of food processing, packaging, and quality assurance.
· Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse production workforce.
· Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and resolve any production-related issues.
· Proficient in using production management software and systems.
