JOB OPPORTUNITIES: The Provincial Government, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), is implementing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Security Support Project throughout the province to ensure food security in the face of climate change. The project is looking to hire dynamic and competent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile holders for the following positions:

Communication and Development Specialist (BPS-18)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: 45 years
• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or Management Sciences.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the same field in the public or private sector.

Environment Specialist (BPS-18)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or Agriculture.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the same field in the public or private sector.

Gender Specialist (BPS-18)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: 45 years
• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Gender Studies, Women’s Studies, Sociology, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the same field in the public or private sector.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officers (BPS-17)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: 45 years
• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant field such as Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Statistics, or Agriculture.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the same field in the public or private sector.

Environment Officers (BPS-17)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: 45 years
• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or Agriculture.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the same field in the public or private sector.
• Additional Qualifications: Certifications or specialized training in Environmental Studies or Sustainability may be advantageous.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. However, detailed scrutiny will be conducted by the appointing authority, and any candidate found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified.
2. All candidates must create a profile on ETEA’s website. After profile creation, candidates must print an E-Sahulat token from ETEA’s website and verify their CNIC from a NADRA E-Sahulat franchise. Without this verification, candidates cannot apply for any post.
3. Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
4. Shortlisting will follow the Project Policy 2022 and donor guidelines.
5. These positions are purely contractual with no chance of confirmation. Selected candidates will be offered one-year renewable contracts subject to satisfactory performance.
6. Candidates must be eligible by the last date of receipt of applications.
7. Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline will not be entertained.
8. Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies should apply through the proper channel.
9. Separate applications are required for each post if applying for more than one position.
10. The competent authority reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, cancel/reject any application without providing a reason.
11. No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
12. Foreign degrees must be equivalent and recognized by HEC.
13. Errors and omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates should visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the positions online.
2. After successful online submission, a deposit slip with the token number, project code, and candidate’s information will be generated.
3. Print the deposit slip, pay the prescribed fee (non-refundable) via Easypaisa or Jazz Cash app or any UBL Bank branch via UBI OMNI agent.
4. After payment, keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) with the bank’s stamp for record.
5. Send no documents/testimonials to ETEA after applying. Candidates who pass the screening will be asked for documents when required.
6. Online applications are available on www.etea.edu.pk from 01-11-2024.
7. The last date for submission is 15-11-2024.
8. ETEA will inform candidates via SMS to download and print Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk.
9. Test date, time, and venue will be on the Roll No. Slip.
10. No separate call letter will be issued for screening tests.

NOTE/IMPORTANT

• Keep a soft copy of your documents and passport-size photo for the online application.
• Read instructions thoroughly before completing the form.
• Deposit fees on your CNIC; third-party payments are not allowed.
• Unqualified applicants will not be accepted.
• Keep your original deposit slip safe; sharing it is not advised.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected, and action will be taken against those providing incorrect information.
