Inverex Solar Energy is looking for a Assistant Import Manager for its head Office Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:
· Documentation: Preparing and maintaining accurate import documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and shipping documents.
· Customs Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all customs regulations and requirements, including tariff classifications, duty calculations, and import permits.
· Communication: Collaborating with international suppliers, customs brokers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments and resolve any import-related issues.
· Data Entry: Accurate and timely data entry into our import management system to track shipments and maintain records.
· Logistics Coordination: Coordinating transportation and delivery of imported goods, optimizing routes, and managing delivery schedules.
· Problem Solving: Proactively identifying and addressing any import-related challenges or delays to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
· Experience of 2-3 years.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Basic knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures (training provided).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
