We Are HIRING Compressor Incharge
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operation of all air compressors (HP & LP) and ammonia compressors, condensers, and cooling systems, monitoring pressure, temperature, oil level, cooling water flow, refrigerant levels, and other critical parameters.
- Oversee planned, scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance across all air and ammonia compressor systems.
- Perform and oversee safe startup and shutdown procedures for ammonia compressors.
- Detect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in compressors and associated systems; report abnormal sounds, vibrations, leaks, or performance deviations.
- Maintain detailed daily operational logs, inspection sheets, pressure/temperature readings, oil level records, downtime reports, and service history for both air and ammonia systems.
- Ensure proper lubrication, oil changes, and replacement of filters and consumables as per SOPs.
- Enforce strict ammonia handling safety protocols, including $\text{NH}_3$ leak detection systems, proper PPE usage, and emergency procedures in case of leakage or system failure.
- Monitor and optimize compressor operations to ensure energy efficiency and minimize air leakages.
- Ensure all maintenance and operational activities comply with safety, environmental, and company regulations and SOPs.
- Lead, train, and provide technical support and guidance to compressor operators and technicians.
- Coordinate with utilities and production teams to ensure uninterrupted compressed air and refrigeration supply to the plant.
Job Requirements:
- DAE (Mechanical) or equivalent qualification
- Hands-on experience with SAP and MS Office
- Minimum 06-08 years of FMCG/industrial experience in air and ammonia compressor operations and maintenance
