RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design, planning, and integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project budgets and schedules.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into building designs.
- Prepare and review cost estimates for MEP systems and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage MEP-related project documentation, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and reports, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting MEP system issues during the construction phase and post-construction, including preventive maintenance and upgrades.
- Responsible for complete project installation related to Air Handling Unit / Chiller system calculations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 12 to 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing MEP systems for large-scale construction projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field). Revit MEP Professional Certification or equivalent Certification Program is preferable.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and energy management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with contractors, team members, and clients.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in mechanical or electrical engineering are preferred.
