Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting outdoor environmental monitoring, water sampling, and basic on-site testing. This role requires frequent travel, including out-of-city assignments, to ensure accurate sampling and testing as per regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outdoor environmental monitoring as per SEPA Standard in various locations for key parameters such as:
- Exhaust Emission, Noise Testing, Lux Testing, Ambient Air Monitoring
- Perform drinking water and wastewater sampling, ensuring proper collection techniques.
- Travel to different sites, including out-of-city locations, for sampling and testing activities.
- Conduct on-site water testing for key parameters such as:
- pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Chlorine, Temperature
- Ensure all samples are properly preserved, labeled, and transported to the laboratory.
- Maintain accurate field records and prepare detailed reports.
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations while conducting field activities.
Requirements:
✔ Minimum BSc or relevant diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
✔ 1-2 years of experience in field sampling and environmental testing (fresh graduates with relevant knowledge may also apply).
✔ Basic understanding of water quality parameters and sampling procedures.
✔ Willingness to travel frequently, including out-of-city assignments.
✔ Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures.
✔ Strong observational and reporting skills.
✔ Must have a valid driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
