Descon is hiring an “Investment and Financial Analyst”

Location: Lahore (Corporate Office)

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, and Economics. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.

2 – 4 years of quality experience in portfolio investment management, financial analysis, financial reporting, corporate finance, and ancillary fields.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support senior management with the oversight of the matters concerning different holding companies of Descon.
  •Ensure corporate compliance, mandatory filings & reporting for different holding companies, and investments with SECP, CCP, SBP, and other regulators. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance efforts.
• Enforcing financial controls and implementation of corporate strategies, guidelines, and policies to ensure that investments in Descon companies are effectively managed.
• Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment. Evaluate investment risks and returns to make informed investment recommendations.
• To anticipate and identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate such risks.
• Maintaining coordination and integration of investment activities across the companies, optimizing investment portfolios, and maximizing returns.
• Perform financial analysis and track the performance of the projects/investments.
• Liaison with external auditors for timely completion of statutory and internal audits.

• Execute special relevant assignments on a when-required basis.
• Experience in risk management and corporate governance.
  •Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  •Proficiency in investment management software and financial analysis tools.
  •Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
