Cherat Cement Company Limited Jobs Deputy Manager Imports:
Cherat Cement Company Limited (Part of Ghulam Faruque Group) is looking for Deputy Manager Imports based at Head Office, Karachi.
The candidate will be responsible:
- To ensure availability of spare parts, machineries, to coordinate with custom clearing agent to ensure that all the shipments are custom cleared in least time.
- To ensure retirement of negotiable documents within value date along with all documentary credits, advance payment requests and other bank documents are submitted with utmost accuracy.
- Calculate duty and tariff payments owed on shipments and arrange for payment of duties on shipments
- To ensure that required/relevant, commercial/negotiable documents are submitted to clearing agent for timely release of shipments.
- To nominate inland transporters for upcountry transport of containerized shipments as well as for all break-bulk, heavy consignments.
- To prepare and present the shipments report biweekly to HoD/ Management.
- To correspond with Shipper / Supplier / Indenter for import related matters
