JOB SUMMARY: To ensure smooth operations and maximum productivity to achieve sales objectives of department through accurate inventory control, adherence to merchandising standards, good personnel management and development.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Department manager takes on is making sure his department perform well in sales.
- Informs his employees about specific sales techniques they might need to improve upon.
- Handles the important role of monitoring stock.
- Minimizes shrinkages through proper handling of merchandise & ensuring strict compliance to FIFO.
- Organizes orders in sufficient quantities to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Checks regularly during the day, the availability, timelines and accuracy.
- Ensures cleanliness and good housekeeping in the work area.
- Manages, motivates and Organizes rosters and holidays of staff.
- Imparts training of store staff and equip them with the skills to understand and fulfill customer needs.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:
- Minimum Intermediate/ Preferred Graduate
- 4+ years of experience on similar role in retails industry.
- Sales & Inventory Management.
- Customer Services.
- People Management.
- Communication Skills
