Simpaisa – a Fintech company is offering a full-time position as a Java developer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate can expect to gain broad range of experience. You will be responsible for delivering wide range of product enhancement, new developments and maintaining existing products. This position requires strategic thinking and technical skills, as well as a practical and proactive approach to problem solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
· Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
· Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand and refine project requirements.
· Write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code.
· Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
· Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
· 4+ years of professional Java Developer experience.
· Strong Java, Spring boot, MySQL
· Experience with microservices architecture.
· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
· Understanding of version control systems (Git).
· Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and continuous integration/delivery.
