Are you an experienced software engineer looking for an exciting challenge? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. At FiveRivers Technologies we are pioneers in the technology industry, driving innovation and shaping the future. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge software solutions that will revolutionize our industry.

What we expect from you:

1. You are a software enthusiast and have experience with building Microservices-based apps
2. Participate in a full life-cycle of the product (including problem discovery, prototyping, design, implementation, and measuring adoption)
3. Design and development services with NodeJS / Python (Express, Flask) on top of AWS infrastructure
4. Design and connect to our persistence layer (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, S3) 5. Build developer-friendly RESTful APIs
5. We believe the unit/integration testing is far better than the manual validation. You must have a passion to write unit tests for whatever you build.

What you should have:

1. 8+ years’ experience in developing web-apps
2. Experience in developing backend services using NodeJS and Python
3. Experience in developing front-end web apps using REACT
4. Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
5. Experience in designing efficient persistence layers (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, S3)
6. Working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL, their pros and cons)
7. Good understanding of test automation techniques
8. Knowledge of algorithms and data structures for the suitable problems
9. Hands-on experience in logging, log analysis, and monitoring techniques
10. Familiarity with Amazon AWS/GCP/Azure
11. Familiarity with Microservices Architecture
12. Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
13. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Pipelines and JIRA
14. Good Analytical and communication skills (written and spoken English) 15. Good research skills will be required

Good to have:

1. Experience with Web3 integrations
2. Understanding of Web and Mobile platforms
