Lucky Core Industries is hiring a Medical Superintendent based at its manufacturing facility in Khewra, Jhelum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all administrative and operational matters of the 20-bed Winnington hospital.
- Provide good quality yet cost-effective medical treatment/ assistance to eligible employees (management/ non-Management) and their registered family members as per Company’s medical policy.
- Conduct routine OPD and manage acute emergencies during on/off hours/days.
- Ensure good quality and cost-effective health services for employees through panel hospitals, partnerships etc., carry out regular reviews of their quality and cost and work on exclusion/ selection of new panel hospitals and partnerships.
- Manage the occupational health of employees along with the effective implementation of Business HSE&E/ HAPI plan.
- Prepare and propose hospital budgets and ensure effective cost management through various initiatives and controls.
- Approve medical bills of employees and panel hospitals, participate in record keeping of patient’s history while ensuring full confidentiality as per medical practices and company policies.
- Ensure timely availability of medicines to employees through effective inventory management of medicines in close coordination with the supply chain department.
- Provide active support towards various health-related CSR initiatives run by the Business and CCPA e.g. Hamqadam Clinic.
- Plan and manage health camps (e.g. Eye Camp, Kidney Camp, Cardiology Camp etc.) for employees and the local community in close coordination with CCPA, Tabba Heart Institute, and LRBT.
- Actively contribute towards improving the overall health profile of employees and their families through health awareness sessions, communications and individual counselling.
- Ensure all applicable legal/ regulatory compliance and coordinate with respective government departments, especially local and provincial health departments, for health campaigns.
- Ensure upskilling of paramedical staff to build and enhance staff capability.
- Come up with an annual hospital improvement plan for improving services, machinery and infrastructure of Winnington Hospital.
