Position: Sr. Programmer/Analyst
Position Objectives: Maintain and support current information systems and play an integral part in the development of new systems.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintain the current information system applications in a networked environment at the Head Office and plant(s).
- Recommend/Implement enhancements/modifications in the existing systems (Software) to meet user requirements.
- Play an essential role in the development, implementation and documentation of new information systems that may include analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, implementing, educating, and user training following recommended Software Development Life Cycle(s) (SDLC).
- Write and maintain documents to describe programs development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections.
- Research and Recommend technology and tools for development of software.
- Provide user training and education on various office automations tools and third party software
- Maintenance of servers regarding their health check and logs.
- Participate, Prepare, Maintain, Test, Execute and Document Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Maintain user accounts on respective servers (E-Approval, DMS, MPS, Care line etc.) as designated.
- Play an essential role in the selection, implementation and support of third party / off the shelf solutions / software.
- Backups of all in housed developed applications
