Production Chemist for Compounding
Location: Head Office North Nazimabad Campus, Karachi Type: Onsite – Full Time
JOB SUMMARY: To oversee and support production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured according to approved formulations, quality standards, safety requirements, and production schedules.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise day-to-day production and manufacturing activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Production & manufacturing operation in pharmaceutical company.
- Monitor production of various compounding preparation.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control Department for sampling, testing, and product approval.
- Maintain batch Production records, and keep a digital log of it.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and identification of raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, SOPs, and environmental guidelines.
- Report production deviations, equipment issues, and operational challenges to the concerned Manager.
- Maintain product and employee safety during production of various compounding preparation.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes, formulations, and production techniques.
- Knowledge of chemical handling, storage, and workplace safety procedures.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and laboratory testing methods.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualifications: Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmacist & Additional certification in manufacturing, production management, or quality assurance will be an advantage.
- Working Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations at pharmaceutical companies will be preferred.
