MINISTRY OF DEFENCE PRODUCTION PMC (GWADAR SHIPYARD)

POSITIONS VACANT: Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the following posts on contract basis for initial period of 1 x year extendable on performance basis in the Government approved development project titled “Establishment of Project Management Cell (PMC) for Creation of Shipyard at Gwadar” being sponsored by Ministry of Defence Production. The scale of pay, qualification, experience and age etc. prescribed for the post is as under:

CFO/ Accounts Officer (PPS-07)

No. of Posts: 01

Duty Station: Rawalpindi

Age: upto 50 years

Qualification: Master degree in Finance/Accounting. (Preferably CA)

Experience:
- At least 10 years’ of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
- Preference will be given to candidates with the Charted Accountant/ certified Public Accountant/ Certified Management Accountant designations.
- Strong communication and time management skills to handle multiple requests and deadlines effectively, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analysis to management, should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
- Good knowledge of financial analysis techniques and accounting principles and procedures.
- The ability to work in conditions where there are multiple and changing priorities, specific time constraints and extended work hours.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and proficient knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems.
- Must be familiar with Public Finance Management and General Financial Rules to ensure compliance.
- Preference will be given to the candidates having proficiency in operating E-AAA (Electronic Asaan Assignment Account) payment solution, SAP, e-Office and iPAS.

PRIVATE SECRETARY (PPS-06)

No. of Posts: 01

Duty Station: Rawalpindi

Age: upto 50 years

Qualification: Bachelor degree with minimum speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand and 50 words per minute in typing.

Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience as working in a Steno typist category with supervisory officers.
- Having perfect knowledge about computer and need to be well versed with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point etc) and inpage.
- Excellent interpersonal communicational skills and good at English writing.
- Must be tactful in dealing with people, discretion, and good judgement ability, adaptable and versatile individual.

Assistant (PPS-05)

No. of Posts: 01

Duty Station: Rawalpindi

Age: Upto 50 years

Qualification: B.A/ B.Sc with IT diploma & typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

Experience: Minimum 03-years’ job profile relevant experience, Preference will be given to the candidates with higher experience preferably in public sector, proficiency in advanced computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point Presentation) and Secretarial Best Practices.

Driver (PPS-01)

No. of Posts: 01

Duty Station: Rawalpindi

Age: Upto 50 years

Qualification: Primary Pass with valid driving license (LTV) and well versed with traffic rules.

Experience: Minimum 02 years’ driving experience. Preference will be given to the candidates with higher experience preferably in public sector.

Naib Qasid (PPS-01)

No. of Posts: 01

Duty Station: Rawalpindi

Age: Upto 50 years

Qualification: Matric Pass.

Experience: Relevant experience (preferably in public sector) capable to read and write in English. Preference will be given to the candidates with higher experience preferably in public sector.

Sanitary Worker / Sweeper (PPS-01)

No. of Posts: 01

Duty Station: Rawalpindi

Age: upto 50 years

Qualification: Primary Pass.

Experience: Relevant experience (preferably in public sector). Well versed with the quality products for cleaning / sweeping / hygiene.

Terms & Conditions:

Employment shall be made in accordance with MoPD&SI letter No. 14(7)/PIA-I/PC/2021 dated 5th March 2026.
Eligibility of the candidates will be determined on the basis of qualification and experience as mentioned against post.
Appointment will be made on Standard Pay Package of PSDP Project.
5 years age relaxation already included as per Govt Rules.

Test / Interviews will be held at Rawalpindi.
Preference will be given to the local candidates applying for PPS-1 positions.
