𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲:
The Assistant Manager Procurement oversees vendor management, procurement, material availability, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely project execution and cost efficiency.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply of materials for residential projects.
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of solar panels, inverters, structures, accessories, and other project-related materials.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery timelines, pricing, and service levels.
- Support vendor onboarding, documentation, compliance, and performance evaluation processes.
- Monitor purchase orders, material requirements, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments.
- Coordinate with Operations and Project teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Work closely with SCM, Warehouse, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Track material availability, shortages, delays, and coordinate corrective actions to avoid project disruptions.
- Negotiate with vendors regarding pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms to achieve cost efficiency.
- Maintain vendor records, contracts, quotations, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier quality issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
- Prepare reports related to vendor performance, procurement status, material availability, and cost analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, supplier optimization, and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and approval processes.
- Support forecasting and planning activities to ensure availability of materials for upcoming residential projects.
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Solar Vendor Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Materials Management.
• Experience managing suppliers/vendors in solar, electrical, construction, manufacturing, or related industries preferred. - Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory coordination, and supplier performance management.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools will be preferred.
