Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage computer labs, equipment, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and antivirus programs.
- Provide technical support to teachers, students, and staff during classes.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and internet connectivity issues.
- Ensure proper functioning of projectors, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain computer lab inventory, records, and asset registers.
- Assist in setting up computer systems for training sessions, assessments, and events.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data security practices are followed.
- Coordinate with School Admin Officer for equipment maintenance and repairs when required.
- Ensure compliance with school IT policies.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the IT lab.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and digital learning initiatives.
