Position: Head of Plant Operations
Location: Port Qasim
Job Scope
- Lead overall site operations including Production, Warehouse & Administration.
- Provide technical leadership in plant design, layout optimization, and facility expansion projects.
- Have strong knowledge and experience of systems, cleanroom design, and infrastructure development and implementation.
- Drive execution of greenfield/brownfield projects, including installations and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO standards, HSE, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage equipment selection, validation, and maintenance strategies.
- Optimize plant efficiency through process improvements and resource utilization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless project execution and operational excellence.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple functions and shifts.
Job Specifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate/Postgraduate (Preferably Pharmacy / BioTech).
- 15 years experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing/production and at least 5+ years in leading Biotech or Sterile operations.
EXPERTISE:
- Strong background in pharmaceutical facility design.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, cleanroom classifications and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
