Position: Senior Executive Taxation Location: Lahore
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file monthly Sales Tax Returns (STR) with complete annexures.
- Manage withholding tax (WHT) deductions and file monthly/biannual WHT statements.
- Perform input-output tax reconciliation and verify vendor invoices.
- Maintain tax challans, CP-5/CP-6, PRCs, and ensure vendor ATL compliance.
- Assist in annual income tax return filing and tax audits.
- Respond to FBR notices, queries, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare monthly tax summaries and internal reports for management.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and external tax consultants.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in taxation (corporate sector preferred).
- Strong understanding of Income Tax Ordinance 2001, Sales Tax Act 1990, and WHT rules.
- Experience with IRIS, STR filing, and tax reconciliations.
- B.Com / BBA (Finance) / BS Accounting & Finance.
- M.Com / MBA (Finance) – preferred.
